Gund Teddy Bears

Aren’t we all tired of getting the same stuff during special occasions? We would be happier if the shirt that we got on our birthday fit us perfectly. During Christmas, we get tons and tons of planners that we don’t even have time to write on. We surely appreciate the effort that our loved ones put into when giving their gifts. We know that they are thoughtful.

Although I couldn’t quite remember the moment my mother gave me my first Gund teddy bear, my memory of the time when I’m fascinated in playing the toy is still clear in my mind; which is not very surprising because I played with the toy until I reached the age of twelve.

I really have fond memories of my childhood days. Gund teddy bears come in various colors such as blue, pink and cream. I can still remember how super soft my teddy was. There was even a satin ribbon that goes around its neck in the shade of the bear’s color.

Now that I have a child of my own, it has also become a tradition for me to give my child a fluffy and huggable Gund teddy bear to add up to her growing collection. It’s just so exciting to see the delight in my daughter’s eyes each time I gave her a new Gund toy. It’s the same thrill and excitement when I got my first Gund teddy bear.

I had a collection of stuffed animals when I was a little girl. Of course, over time, many of them fell apart. I brought my animals everywhere: on visits to my grandma, on car trips, even to the beach one time. Many photos were taken of me and my growing collection.

I miss those days when I used to have tea parties with them. Those were the days when I didn’t have to worry about things like mortgages. That is why I have started collecting these toys again.
