Gund stuffed animals

I had a collection of stuffed animals when I was a little girl. Of course, over time, many of them fell apart. I brought my animals everywhere: on visits to my grandma, on car trips, even to the beach one time. Many photos were taken of me and my growing collection.

I miss those days when I used to have tea parties with them. Those were the days when I didn’t have to worry about things like mortgages. That is why I have started collecting these toys again. I like the selections available from Gund stuffed animals. They are cute and cuddly, just like my old stuffed friends.

Soft fluffy toys like stuffed animals make great presents for kids. Many of them feel that they have a sense of security if they have a familiar stuffed friend nearby. But there are several precautions that you should practice with regard to stuffed toys:

1. Make sure that there are no small removable parts that could fall off. This prevents choking in small children.

2. Choose stuffed toys made from fire-retardant materials.

3. Don’t make them dust traps. Make sure that you launder them properly before they get covered in dust bunnies.

4. Choose stuffed toys that are not made of furry materials if your child has allergies.

gund-stuffed-toyKids love stuffed toys. Most kids even sleep with a favorite stuffed animal. Kids sometimes feel more secure when they are hugging their favorite toy.  Alot of people still have their stuffed animal from when they were little.

In fact, stuffed toys are even used in therapy for kids who have been involved in a trauma of some sort. A stuffed toy can be a great companion, especially when a kid is lonely. It also enhances a kid’s imagination as he or she plays pretend.
