Gund Teddy Bears

Although I couldn’t quite remember the moment my mother gave me my first Gund teddy bear, my memory of the time when I’m fascinated in playing the toy is still clear in my mind; which is not very surprising because I played with the toy until I reached the age of twelve.

Gund has always been the best manufacturer of teddy bears and other stuffed animal toys. But over the time, the company has developed a huge variety Gund baby toys. The toys are just as adorable and safe as the rest of the Gund products, but they are made more functional and more designs other than bears have been made available.

Who wouldn’t recognize the popular slogan; “Gotta Getta Gund”? Of course, we all know that it is the catchphrase of the Gund Company, which is among the pioneers in manufacturing good quality and defect-free teddy bears. It is the first stuffed animal toys manufacturer in the U.S. around the year 1898. The popularity of the Gund teddy bears spread like an epidemic that almost every child, whatever their age may be then, has one or more of the cuddly bears as toys.
Even up to date, the popularity of Gund bears remains. Parents who have once played with the cute and cuddly bears back in their childhood also want their children to experience the same pleasure.

There are many colors, shapes and sizes to choose from. Other bear products also include musical features. A button somewhere in the bear’s can be pushed to hear a pleasing music. Of course, the bears are mostly asthma-friendly so moms could be sure that they’re safe for their babies.

I really have fond memories of my childhood days. I even remember how much I enjoyed playing with stuffed toys, with the rest of my room filled will all sizes of these huggable toys.  But I have special preference over teddy bears, particularly Gund teddy bears. Gund teddy bears come in various colors such as blue, pink and cream. I can still remember how super soft my teddy was. There was even a satin ribbon that goes around its neck in the shade of the bear’s color.

Now that I have a child of my own, it has also become a tradition for me to give my child a fluffy and huggable Gund teddy bear to add up to her growing collection. It’s just so exciting to see the delight in my daughter’s eyes each time I gave her a new Gund toy. It’s the same thrill and excitement when I got my first Gund teddy bear.
